The Proclamation by Patricia Treacy

County Louth violinist Patricia Treacy was invited to play at the inauguration of President Joe Biden on January 20, 2021. The piece of music to be played was "The Proclamation" composed by Patrick Cassidy to commemorate the 1916 Easter Rising. Thinking she might not be able to travel due to Covid-19 restrictions, Patricia recorded this version in old St. Patrick’s Church in Chicago, IL. Thankfully Patricia was able to travel and played the piece live at the inauguration mass. Enjoy and share!
