Hello and welcome to this tutorial, on how to build an IoT Based Temperature Control & Monitoring System using ESP8266 & Blynk 2.0 with two manual and automatic operating Modes. To build this system, we will use an ESP8266 microcontroller, a DS18B20 temperature sensor, 2 channel relay module, and an OLED display.
This project is upgraded with many useful features like monitoring and controlling your system remotely from anywhere in the world using Blynk IoT. Storing the state of the system (heating and cooling relay states, setpoint, hysteresis, and mode) in the EEPROM of the ESP8266, allowing the system to retain its settings even when the power is turned off. You can only turn the ON and OFF Heater and Cooler manually when the automatic mode is OFF. You can also see real-time feedback on both Mobile and Web dashboards.
This tutorial will guide you through the steps of setting up the hardware,
installing the necessary libraries, and writing the code to implement the
temperature control system. By the end of this tutorial, you will have a working IoT Based Temperature Control & Monitoring System using ESP8266 & Blynk 2.0 with Operating Modes that you can customize to meet your specific needs.
