I won't lie and say it's super common, but I've seen tons of $100K+ servers, Oracle DB or SAP HANA servers, boxes with 4TB RAM, or 10 years ago servers with multiple huge PCIe SSD Fusion IO cards. Fully loaded Sun/Oracle Sparc M8000/M9000 servers could easily top $1M each, Storage arrays are way more expensive, I've deployed multiple $5M+ enterprise storage arrays over the years, EMC or even older Hitachi Lightning-9900's. All that said, that GPU HPC server is pretty sick when you realize how much raw horsepower is contained within.

I am absolutely so hyped about this series of videos since you guys talked about it on WAN Show. A petabyte of fully unleashed flash is gonna be crazy. Im interested what the sample work loads will look like. I hope you guys do try to push it hard with a ton of editors, maybe some 8k Plex streaming if that's even possible.
