Fun fact: Jeremy Sumpter (Peter Pan) and Rachel Hurd-Wood (Wendy) actually fell in love on set and said they were each others first loves, which makes this scene all the more romantic and sweet 🥺 I believe they're still friends/ friendly with eachother now

When i finally read the novel i adored the love between both characters and the tragedy where Wendy wanted Peter to grow up with and someday be like her own parents but he couldnt let go of his youth. Then how when Wendy did grow up and it was like no time had passed for Peter, he cried when he saw she was out of his reach and he'd lost her. I always felt the main lesson was that youth is beautiful and treasure it, but that if you dont let go, you miss out on some of the greatest blessings. In the book and shown so well in this version was that Peter lost a life with Wendy and Hook taunted him for this weakness

I always love the music of this scene, "Fairy Dance". I'm really glad that the music composer finally uploaded the OST in Spotify after many years, he knew what he was doing with the release of Disney's version that will never reach this movie's level🤣🤣
