thats what happens when bad management meets bad dev team... When Scott Lame meets Katy and Dave V... I'm so sad what a great potential ruined. The world was beautiful, the combat, sfx... They just needed to make this world feels alive. I'll always remember leveling in Cutlass Keys and Reekwater Siren chest runs - what a beautiful zones

Chest Runs being deemed as "End Game Content" is what sank this ship. People want raiding, NO RNG CRAFTING, battlegrounds, and dungeons were too hard for most players.

New World will forever go down as the game with the greatest potential that failed the hardest. Absolutely beautiful world, wonderful music, phenomenal gameplay and combat - the foundation of the game was just incredible. But ultimately, they killed themselves by releasing the game a year too early knowing it was unfinished and incomplete. They then had to spend the past several years just trying to fix the game and that killed them. Hopefully lessons have been learned for the upcoming LOTR MMO. But I'm not holding my breath.

There's A LOT happening this weekend. Fortnite has a limited run for a Cyber Truck, Marvel Rivals has a limited run for their Beta exclusive skins, and much much more. Aint no one gonna play a closed beta with no rewards when there's so much more to play and earn. I haven't been able to play the beta on my PS5 for those reasons alone.
