Well, I'm trying to get my head around the fact that not only did Paul's missus shag another bloke, but she then gave birth to the other bloke's kid...then Paul accepted the other man's kid into his family ! This is a strange scenario. I can only think that perhaps that after many years of marriage, children, and familiarity between Paul and Stacey, the effect of knowing about her affair with another man wasn't quite as devastating as it might have been to men who hadn't had the opportunities with women that Paul had had.
But perhaps, the fact that Paul might have 'enjoyed' the company of many other women during his time as a famous pop-star, meant that his wife's infidelity wasn't as damaging to him as it might have been to other men in similar circumstances. Or perhaps, there is another side to the story, which Stacey could reveal, if she were alive today ( God rest her soul - hoping she repented ). Who knows ?
