I’m with you on all the car advice. What about an SUV vs a small car? Any reason to want a bigger car for that specific extra protection?

Cannot get those cars these days. I have bought new cars always, low interest loans, paid off early, driven 5–15 years. That has worked well for my family, so I think it is not a hard and fast rule.
