Using Fibonacci

In the high-tech world of modern financial trading, a technical analysis technique based on the discoveries of a 13th century Italian mathematician is widely used by analysts and traders the world over.
Named after Leonardo Fibonacci of Pisa, Fibonacci lines, or “retracements” are such a tool, providing market technicians with clues as to the length and breadth of potential market moves.
They are based on the Fibonacci ratio, a mathematical constant which relates numbers in a sequence.
