This is all well and good, but I am of the opinion that the billions being spent on all kinds of non immediate research could easily pay for and install fresh water wells all over drought stricken and poor countries especially like in Northern Africa where children are literally dying every day in large part due to no access to clean potable water. With those kind of funds it would be doable probably within a year or two. I love science and research and learning new things, however I think it would be worth it to let CERN sit empty for a short while to relieve human suffering indefinitely.... Just food for thought.

If you check on top of mountains up to around 12, 000 feet there are many sea creature fossils scattered on every mountain. Meaning during "the great flood" water rose to a height of 2.5 miles higher than the current sea level. That water had to go somewhere. lol
