Current State of Pure Vanilla Cookie? Still Good or Not? | Cookie Run Kingdom

Hey guys! Pure Vanilla Cookie has been placed in a bad place/area regarding the Arena for Cookie Run Kingdom with the introduction of Cotton Cookie, Pumpkin Pie Cookie, Frost Queen Cookie, Twizzly Gummy Cookie, and more. In this video, I wanted to discuss the viability of Pure Vanilla Cookie and also how well he stands against couple of the healers/supports that are being greatly used for world exploration. I hope the video helps, and I hope that Pure Vanilla Cookie will soon find his place back into the meta of the arena.

The big conclusion is that pure vanilla is better for world exploration sort of modes while cotton and parfait is better for arena game modes due to the 3/3 ancients and legendary’s Pure vanilla is still on of the best cookies he has not died and is not dying anytime soon

I wouldn't mind the meta changing every once in a while _if_ not for the fact that building new cookies was such a resource sink. It's already hard enough to build 3 full teams for Super Mayhem, getting jellies and skill powders is a nightmare. And then you find out that what was an amazing unit for the longest time (not talking about PV specifically, just in general) has now been shafted and the only thing you can do is sit there with your 5 jellies like 🙃👍

I believe that PV is still good, but I think that just like Sea Fairy, he’s suffering a lot more because of Frost Queen and even though Twizzly did have that shield debuff against PV definitely hurts him, but mostly hurts PV on the lower ranks because I personally believe that Twizzly is better off used in the lower ranks than diamond and masters.

PV is still good because of the shield. It's still a pain in the ass dealing with teams that have PV in it even though I use a Cotton-Parfait combo in my experience

I think cotton outheals everyone here probably because of her sheeps. She also heals her sheeps, making her seem to heal more.

Imo he is still good. He was my first ancient and i haven't removed him from my team since first day. However, new characters = new combos. PV in pvp is getting a bit more useless unless you don't combo him with another support/healer. But he's still op in pve

Buff idea for pomegranate:
-reflect damage for his skill.
-Poison effect.
-More abase attack

sometimes I feel PV is lacking heal.

my team consist of:
strawberry crepe as tank
Sea fairy and Frost queen as damage dealers
Pure Vanilla and cotton as healers.
I have 500, 000+ power in total

There are times they're useful, but often times i got beaten by 300, 000+ power enemy😳 Idk why

I have Hollyberry on the sideline since we cant have more than 3 ancients/legendaries

What makes me so sad is that they needed to make like 5 cookies to kick pure vanilla out of arena teams. PV is my favorite cookie and I was really sad after watching this. Sure like he's still very good but it reminds me of how other gacha games trying to un directly nerf a unit. In this case, they literally made twizzly gummy destroy shields and the only 2 cookies who make HP shields (unless i'm mistaken) is custard and PV. Secondly, they made pumpkin pie cookie. Who decreased healing. Cotton, frost queen and parfait were less un direct buffs, but in the end, pure vanilla was always very good, but cookie run's meta is shifting towards teams without healing cookies. My thing is, the number 1 people in arenas made it past 12-30 in dark mode with pure vanilla. However their cookies are probably promoted, if you're not trying to be the top of arenas, you don't have to strive towards meta. Like IDC about using 2 support cookies instead of pure vanilla. My friends tell me to stop using him but I won't because whats the point of a game if you can't enjoy it?
Anyway IK some people are actually happy about this, and I know I sound dorkish (not a word) but I hope someone understands.

Ideas for buff werewolf:
-first reworks: recovers the twenty percent of his health when it transformates, and doesnt do damage the transform, now reduce 20 % attacck to the nearest cookies
-Gains a speed boost from the 30% and a 30% more of critical for his double transform attacks.
- the transform time from 8s to 12s.
-The double attacks of his transform now do knockback.

Pure vanilla seems great to me for soaking on the initial damage of frost queen and sea fairy. I tend to beat teams that have parfait and lose to pure vanilla teams. I got lvl 50 frost queen, sea fairy, hollyberry, cotton and parfait

Right now I’m in the SToC and stuck at tray 96, since it stipulates no support cookies, if I had PV I’d probably be able to clear it. I always viewed PV like Merlin from FGO. The God of not dying and enabling you to do all the damage.

Been playing the game for about 2 month dish and I gotta say PV has come in clutch with my PVE run currently on World 12

Eclair helps him return to Arena Meta, the dou make the strongest shields ever. Make sure you have Parfait or Cotton to back them up with the extra healing. My team really last long because of them. Also, Ghosthorn treasure and some damage resist boost protects your PV from enemy cookie that targets healer first like Vampire :)

So far I think Pure Vanilla is one of the BEST healers, his shield can be really amazing and last for a good amount of time, sure the default healing might be a bit slower than the others, even though they can't compete against other cookies in Arena that much, in my experience, he was pretty good :))



I agree with HyRool, PV isn't really the best for PVP. Players aren't made to be underistimated xD

From my experience, pure vanilla is still very good in PVE because of the shield and the burst healing.
While in arena, I use cotton-parfait combo, cause of the 3 ancient/legendary team setup, so I have to use HB, SF, FQ, instead of PV.
