How to Print the Contents of a Folder to a file in Windows

Printing the directory structure including the filenames and subfolders can be done in Windows using or of the two simple built-in commands. These two commands eliminate the need to use third-party applications to perform this operation. This is a very useful tool if you want to create a file with names of hundreds, if not thousands of files within the folders.

Good presentation. Basically, pull out one's old DOS manual and follow it to perform these tasks. Damn, I tossed mine in 1992!
