Now that I think I understand what you're going for, here's my suggestion: don't just show the first-place finisher. That would make sense with fewer racers, but with 100+, more racers need to place for it to feel fair. I'd suggest listing the top ten.

With no understanding of anyone’s strengths and weaknesses (if there are indeed any differences at all) of course Luigi won the first race, he was in front of the line. Also, why do only some characters get to come back from death? It’s an amazing technical achievement, and I don’t want to downplay that, but I don’t see the point of future races of identically acting, different looking characters.

It should show a leaderboard with at least the top 4 like in Mario Kart. When there's only one character on the screen it's so hard to tell how anyone else is doing.

The 2nd race, I was really rooting for Bowser. I legit almost forgot this was a "video" and not an actual race. I got really into it for a bit!

It feels a little repetitive and how the other characters couldn't use a different tactic than others, instead they all go the same route, and they don't jump or anything unless the obstacle forces it, and the obstacles itself feels very generic and really easy, but I can tell this has a lot of work put into it, so you still did a pretty great job on this. Just a few critics is all.
