I'm such a ditz i didn't even realize my hubs was proposing! He asked what I thought about us getting married and I joked "why not, ya seem like a pretty good fella to me!" 😂 He just kind of looked at me and I was like what? And then it dawned on me what he was asking! But once I finally got the hint, I said yes and 33 years later I can still say he's a pretty good fella! 💗

My husband proposed to me when it was -37 degrees outside on a frozen pier in northern MN. We had gone to this pier on our first date and quite often during our dating. I couldn't figure out why he wanted to go there when it was sub zero, but was such a nice surprise. An event I will never forget.

My husband actually proposed to me while I was in the shower!! No lie!
We were supposed to go out but I wasn’t feeling well and it was Xmas Eve night. So his crazy butt decides he doesn’t want to wait and starts blasting our song, It’s Your Love by Tim McGraw & Faith Hill, while I’m in the shower. I’m wondering why he had it on so loud...so I pull back the curtain and he’s down on one knee on the bathroom floor!!! I started crying, while obviously naked, and said yes. I’ll never let him live it down tho. I bring it up from time to time...like, “Babe, well you proposed to me while I was in the shower!” But I gotta say, I’ve never heard anyone else who was proposed to while in the shower! Lol!

Best engagement story! I just cracked up so hard listening to you. My engagement story was very non-exciting. My mother-in-law pretty much asked me to marry her son. He is from India and they were more in the process of arranging his marriage although he and I had been together for a long time. His parents didn't know about me because of all sorts of cultural stuff. all in all my mother in law essentially said when she finally met me, "ok so what are your plans for the future together? Do you want to be a match?" I said yes of course. Little did they know we were already together for years and I knew everything about them. It was a very confusing time for all of us but luckily we all got over that and adore each other. Now that I write this I realize it is a bit strange. (but I didn't get to moon people :)

My oh my, what a story! You are the absolute most hilarious woman I have ever watched! Thank you for always being real!! My honey is the best!! I was going through the worst time in my life EVER. My mom was in her final days at home with us. I was having a total meltdown one day, well May 21, 2016 to be exact, and he was holding me while I cried, was crying with me, and in the middle of my sobbing, he kissed me and asked me to marry him!! So the worst time in my life also became one of the happiest!! Now, we planned our wedding for October 15. October 5th I was rushed into emergency back surgery, so I couldn't walk on the 15th! We did our nuptials with me in my jammies and totally incapable of being the bride I wanted to be and give him the wedding he so deserved!! He was/is the most incredible man, he told me how beautiful I was, just any groom would do for his bride on their wedding day, and made me feel like a true princess!! I am the most blessed woman this side of Heaven!! He is amazing!!❤❤❤❤

I love your stories...you are so hilarious and warm and fun! My engagement story: went on a trip with hubby but it rained so terribly that we couldn't find a restaurant to dine so we returned to the hotel. When he slid of the chair to get on his knees I didn't immediately realise what he was doing and thought he'd fallen off the chair. It was hilarious and wonderful all in one.

When my husband wanted to propose he asked my father for his blessings first. I came in later from a walk with the dog and my dad pulled out a bottle of champaign and said: "Let's celebrate your engagement today!" I was completely overwhelmed first, but later I was so happy and our wedding day was the best day in my life 💗💗

I got the shark robot vacuum. It’s amazing. Not only does it vacuum for me it actually motivates me to keep everything else in my living room clean. I now dust weekly
