University Movies - ASA/ONI - VFX Breakdown - Houdini - Loic Buczkowski

This is the breakdown of some of the VFX I made. I worked on the movie A Sweet Adventure (ASA) and on the movie ONI during my time at UQAT. We had to do a movie as a team for my last year at the university, I took part on two of them as the VFX artist. The movies are not available to watch yet, because they are in some festival.

I did the simulations, not the compositing, so the final shot may not look like what I posted.

First effect: The boat and the clouds, I made the clouds with the Cloud and Cloud Noise nodes, I added a Pyro simulation for the cloud which collide with the boat and I used Vellum to simulate the sails and the ropes.
Second effect: The coins, I made the coins mountain using RBD bullet.
Third effect: The mushroom smoke, I made the smoke using Axiom Pyro.
Fourth effect: The tent, I made the tent simulation using Vellum.
Fifth effect: (These effects are from a different movie), I made the ink using FLIP and VDB and I made the sparks using POP and VDB.
