It's a shame that he left the show. It left a real void. I have seen all 17 seasons. I still love the show, but it's not the same.

I was 4 when the series began, so my first exposure was thru my sisters dvd’s and streaming when I was 10..When I reached college in 2020, current with the show, just in time to see Ty killed off in 2021.. My assessment to that point was the show got hard to follow but for me season 8 was a series saver..until Ty was gone ..tried 14 hated it ..saw a couple episodes in 15 and dropped it, went back to rewatch from season 1 really showed me how bad the series has gotten without Ty and Amy
Yes that scene of the almost kiss on this vid set the momentum for the series although 5, 6, &7 were crazy since it drug along Ty and Amy and their relationship - which in hindsight made 8-13 pretty damn good
Now in 18 with talk of 19-put a fork in it the show is pretty bad. Streaming added a world wide flair of audience and skewed the ratings, but it never caught on..The main characters left have no energy
But the show did no favors that the added new characters between 15-18 are stiffs
If the show would of got some new blood the show could evolve with good storylines and age very well
Face it- Amy isn’t Amy without Ty, her potential interests are bad, and now Nathan- inexperienced bad actor who’s career is over before it got started- watching paint dry is more exciting then watching his character
Losing Ty, Jade, Soraya, Georgie, Mallory, Ashley, Scott, Mitch, Samantha, Kit..no new excitement with the original characters left just getting older tired looking and bored
Heartland beat the curve- don’t be that broken down athlete who stays and tarnishes their legacy

They are amazing together, I stopped watching after he died. Amy should stay single or cancel the show. Without him it’s not worth watching

Without the kiss, the same result occur. Amy and Ty realize their relationship has changed and it scares Amy. “I do not want things to change about us.” She has feelings she is experiencing for the first time.
