Little edit here since i get little notifications about this every now and then. The joke was more about the plot of this sonic game being the military chasing sonic because they mistook him for shadow, who sonic calls 'that black hedgehog' until he learns his name later on. No aspect of this joke has any racial motivations. I just like the silly go fast rat games.

Fun fact: In original version of the game, you can spot Quagmire's cameo halfway through the chase. He's walking down the side of the street and you'll hear a fading "giggity" as you run through.
