the problem is he was hired for a specific job. he wasn’t hired to be a guest for the show or to even have a voice. if Joe doesn’t want him speaking constantly then he has to enforce the rules. it’s the same reason he fired redban. he’s not looking for a sidekick, just someone to run the production, who can have a word here and there. he was hired for a job, not to boost his non-existent comedy career. it may seem harsh but you have to be when someone gets in over their head too much.
