Показать описание
In this video, the different types of Binary Codes and the Classification of Binary Codes are explained in brief.
Timestamps:
0:00 Introduction
0:43 Numeric and Alphanumeric Codes
1:38 Weighted Code and Non-weighted Codes
6:00 Sequential Codes
6:56 Cyclic Codes
7:32 Self-Complementing Codes
9:05 Error Detecting and Error-Correcting Codes
Binary Codes:
The Binary Code is a way of representing numbers, characters or letters using the group of '1' and '0'. There are different types of binary codes and mainly there can be classified in the following categories.
Classification of Binary Codes:
1) Alphanumeric Codes
Examples: ASCII and EBCDIC
2) Weighted Code
Example: BCD 8421, 5421, 2421, 84 -2 -1
3) Non-weighted Code
Example: XS- 3 code and Gray Code
4) Sequential Code
Example: BCD 8421 and XS-3 Code
5) Cyclic Code
Example: Gray Code
6) Self-Complementing Code
Example : XS-3, 84 -2-1 code, 2421 code
7) Error Detecting and Error Correcting Code
Example: Parity and Hamming Code
This video will be helpful to all the students of science and engineering in understanding the different types of Binary Codes.
