If Tesla were to make a smartphone, I think, that their main point would be battery life, like a new type of battery or something like that

Tesla would be the company to make the first "self using" smartphone. You wouldn't have to interact with it at all, because it would read your mind and know exactly who to call/text, what app to open, etc... 😉
