It sounds absolutely amazing, but in all honesty it’s being played by a master. Therefore anything you play will sound absolutely amazing. The offer is tempting but unfortunately, I already have a flugelhorn. I’ve been messing around with, but if I ever get rid of my first one here I will take this into consideration. What about bigger cup mouthpieces to give it a bass-ier tone? T. Ex. I use a M3 on my cornet and it sounds less trebbly and hissy as in a trumpet.
