I couldn't wait for these dev dairies to come out. As a huge fan of the original I was blown away by how much further they were pushing things in the sequel. Back to watch these for a little nostalgia. Crazy to me I was 19, now I'm 30.

Altair and Ezio are both ancestors of Desmond. Altair was an assassin during the time of the crusades, and Ezio was an assassin during the italian renaissance. I hope that clears up any questions people are having about Desmonds ancestry and his relation to the two.

They will most likely find another time, i read that it might be medieval or feudal japan. some said it would be french revolution or WW2 but they still wanna explore other earlier times

This game was more intense and awesome then the first. I just finished it a couple hours ago, and for the first time in years I can actually say within its small life time, the game has one of the most interesting story lines I've ever seen in a game. The ending actually gave me shivers, not too many games that make you start thinking about all that sort of stuff. (The vault mission)
I'm a major game critic, and I would give it a solid 10/10.

They can improve the climbing a bit (witch if you didnt noticed, they did.), but they cannot change it to slightly new stuff, cuz then there will be no more engine called "Scimitar/Anvil" that AC used it. They'll have to create a new, witch will take years to do...

Look forward in playing ACII, probably going to appreciate the exploration, diverse missions, puzzles solving (hopefully they would feature few) and platforming is a plus. Ezio flies through in Nov. 17.

At 3:02, I think they should have made it look a bit more difficult for Ezio to stab through the gaurds. They're probably wearing some kind of protection, right?

Desmond is an assassin. It's likely either through this game, or in the 3rd, last game, that he will be the assassin, completely 'blended' with his ancestors as described in parts of AC1.

Thats my guess...should be interesting waiting for what could lie ahead, but Des is definitely being trained to be an assassin...bad thing is that its a good possiblity that he would be using modern weapons...so much for the sword

As far as I know, you can't get the crossbow in ac1, it was cutted out before release.

@Fenyx6 WW2 hasn't really been touched in the last few years; only in like 2000-2003 was it ever really popular.

Most WW2 games also only do generic German villages and Omaha beach; you have Pacific Islands; you have Italy; you have all kinds of other lands to explore.

WW2 has also never been done with AC style of gameplay, most WW2 games are RTS or FPS.

Etzio wasn't part of the bloodline of asassins like altair but he picked off the skills from the skilled and also alairs codex

the game is complete at the moment, the game they played at E3 was a beta style game which they would see how it went (bugs, glitches etc) and they will improve the finished product with that info. so your right by saying its finished but they will improve it
