EVs are a disaster waiting to happen. IN frigid temperatures in the US and Canada, for example, they are largely helpless. EV owners In Chicago recently were stuck for many hours because the charging systems failed and the cars had no reserve power. in situations where there is salt on roads EVs are subject to spontaneous fires. And the fires are very very diifficult to put out. Even if they avoid these pitfalls, the batteries die in 6 to 10 years and the car is basically landfill. who is pushing this nonsense?

I don’t know how old this video, but Ford, GM, Toyota, Honda and VW have all announced their drastic reduction on EV production. Several of these company CEOs have sited reliability, recalls, and safety. They all cut the lack of infrastructure to recharge the EV. Toyota and BMW have announced they are moving to hydrogen as a better green option. The moment you drive an EV off the lot you are upside down on the loan due to the poor resale due to there being no tax incentive to the buyer of used EVs. People are realizing all the negatives to EVs and not much is being talked about the huge hazard of lithium batteries. There is a reason that airlines are not permitting lithium appliances on airlines. They have a volatility that nobody that learns the truth would put their children in one. EV buses in China and Europe are bursting into flames or exploding far to frequently. Why risk buying one of these with all the risks.
Demand is created by consumers, not a president. Soon we will hear the government will be bailing out EV manufacturers using taxpayer dollars. This is ridiculous.

Did you know that of all the EV Makers only Tesla has enjoyed any profits even with subsidy that accounted for about 20% of a Model 3 price? All the others have lost big money; now with price cuts, and some subsidies dropping even Tesla will face some difficult times; it's stock is off 31% in a months time.
