Edp is that one youtuber
that 80 years later when someone ask you who that was
the only thing that you can do as laugh

Years later, Etika’s passing still hurts to this day. He was like a brother to the community and we never even knew how bad it truly was…I still miss him.

Then most recently, MatPat... One of the saddest ways to start off 2024 by far. We'll never forget all that he's done for the community

Losing TechnoBlade and Lynda, and with MatPat retiring, broke my heart. Deep in one of my many favorite contact creators.

For those wondering why the rice gum final video was “the saddest video he’s ever seen” it’s because the video was a whole video about them preparing for their baby having parties, ultrasound, prepping the baby room, and then before the video hit the part where we were all expecting to see a baby, there was a text informing the viewers that she was about to give birth the doctors told them that the baby died. Rest in peace little one.

The worst ones are the ones that just leave with no explanation and when you look back at their channel you see that they haven’t posted in 5 years

These people put YouTube to where it is now, and I'm happy for them.

"I watched YouTubers last videos"

My mind: "gloom/Kassie"

Nothing is sadder than watching someone you grew up with stop being a constant in your life.
I dread the day my favorite YouTubers stop posting or if something bad happens to them— I didn’t even watch Techno a lot, and his death really hurt me. I can’t imagine what it’ll be like when it’s someone I’ve watched for several years.

Rest in peace, technoblade. You had a good life.

On the RiceGum ending, my dad was a medic in the military right out of high school. He started off working in the NICU of a military hospital, and he was assisting in a baby delivery. The baby was born with Anencephaly (concave skull, no brain). The parents were too distraught to hold the baby, so the doctor made my then 18 year old dad hold the baby until it passed. It lived for about an hour until it finally succumbed to its condition. Talk about an introduction to the gruesome world of working in a hospital and being in the military. He didn’t tell me this story until he was about 50 and I was 22. Obviously jarring still to this day for him. But he said he was never shaken by the death of a patient from then on, so the desensitization seemed to work.
