My buddys 08 2.4l accord 5 spd kept up pretty well against one of these v6 challengers on highway, , we were getting pulled on obviously but I was surprised by how well it kept up

You know what I love this channel. This is just fun. Im wrong when it comes to racing im too competitive but this channel is great

Nice matchup, that Honda 10sp is great. I would think RWD should have the advantage but Honda must have the suspension really sorted out in the Accord too.

Challenger does have a 200lb weight deficit against the Accord though. I think the V6 Camaros are quicker.

Ha! I just realized that V6 has a little over 300hp at the crank. Accord has about 280-ish horsepower at the crank. You just can’t beat the gearing in those 10 speeds. And there are people with 125-150k on them already! Maybe the best automatic Honda has ever made.

Do you (the owner) and viewers think the stock accord 2.0t can beat a 2015 C300? I can’t find any videos on it

2nd pass buddy tried to shift with the sure why it's slower that way as this video shows you just end up smashing off the rev limiter. If you want to shift higher tune the TCM

V6 challenger do NOT have 300hp. They sit at around 270-80. The accord beats it all day everyday. It weighs 500lbs less than the dodge

Bro i've raced v6 challengers in my 1.5t with just cold air intake and custom exhaust and I walk them 😭😂

Light work! I had a kid in an AWD Chrysler 300 (V6 w/ 290hp) want to race me at a stoplight a couple months ago and I told him “you take the hit” and he looked at me like I was crazy. Then he met me at the next stoplight and said “what’s that thing got it it?” Just a little 4 banger!

Friend of mine has a Charger V6, that thing is so slow it's laughable. I don't understand how it can be that slow with 300+ hp. I've driven the V8 5.7, even that is not fast. The only way to justify owning Charger/Challenger is the 6.4 and up.

Why does it look like buddy was going with that 3.6 like he had a 6.4? Idk if it’s just mine but my 3.6 pulls harder. The difference that a turbo makes, a sxt challenger cranks at 305hp naturally aspirated v6 and I’ve seen dynos between 247 and 260 whp stock and a accord 2.0t with a turbo 4liter does anywhere between 247-265 whp and it’s advertised at 252hp. The Honda NEEDS the turbo to do what it does and if you were to take away the extra 700+lbs the challenger has (Honda at 3370 and challenger at 4100) and bring on the straight 4 cyl you don’t think it would be different? Even if it was a v6, the weight makes a huge difference.
