I just want to point out the hypocrisy of any country that stands for freedom and justice to not recognize Taiwan.

Did they violate the human rights of their citizens? Are they corrupt? Do they trade unfairly?
...no? Then what's the problem? They've got a flag, land, and a government established by the people. Is anything missing?

Taiwan is independent, but China weighs large on Taiwan. For Taiwan to stand against Mainland China is very brave and Honorable stand for their independence and Democratic leadership! They will need United States backing to take on China should military action be taken by them! Remember China says Taiwan we be reunified with China whether they like it or not! As an American that respects Taiwan independence I do not agree with reunification unless the Taiwanese people really desire it! I don't think they want it, but there are people there that might!
