Installing an Insulated Floor in the Harbor Freight Teardrop Trailer Build. NOTE - It’s been years since I operated a TABLE SAW and I made a few BIG MISTAKES. First - Do NOT WEAR GLOVES (Wearing gloves increases your risk of injury) Second - Do NOT WEAR LOOSE SLEEVES (Loose clothing can get caught and definitely increases your risk of injury)

Personally I would not use wafer board for the floor of my trailers. I use waterproof plywood that came from the factory with plastic laminate glued to both sides that I put down on my trailer floor and it will outlast that wafer board least a good 10 times longer!
I’m curious about the weight you’re trailer going to be by the time you’re done with it? Those trailers aren’t meant to carry much weight if I’m not mistaken? Especially with those little trailer wheels!

You're going to want to consider the weight you are adding to that small trailer. I'm not sure how much more elaborate your plans are, you mentioned walls and given you are going for an insulated floor I assume you intend to fully enclosed it, whichever the case all of it combined is going to limit your overall trailer hauling capacity, something to consider if you hadn't already. With respect to your new floor, I would at a minimum recommend taking the top panel off and adding some sleepers within your sandwich, preferably in alignment with the trailers steel cross members or perpendicular to those, once done reattach your OSB, ply would be better ... Gluck

Man you got to be a rookie! No one never told you that you don’t wear gloves while using a table saw nor any long loose sleeves! That’s a great way to loose a few fingers or worse! That saw blade grabs those gloves or shirt sleeves and it will suck you’re fingers and hand right into the blade. That’s 101 safety measures everyone should know, no loose clothing or gloves while running a table saw. You be fired on the spot if you tried wearing gloves running the table saw in any cabinet shop I know of! They don’t even recommend wearing rings on your fingers! I’ve seen way too many people loose their fingers on table saws and had to pack their fingers in ice and rush them to the hospital emergency room. Only takes one small mishap and you’re going to live being called stumpy for the rest of your life and plenty of pain to remind you what you did wrong! Been in a woodworking business over 50 years and still have all my fingers and that’s not just by luck!
