First off:

This is a cool format, Jay. Highly produced, highly scripted content is a welcome changeup (once in a while; don't get carried away, mate 😂)

Secondly: really rooting for this kid. Honestly, rooting for a lot of the youth. They're very likeable. Garnacho, Mainoo, Kambwala, Højlund, Amad, and I think Forson gets forgotten in this conversation sometimes because he hasn't hit the ground running into the first team quite as much.

This team has a chance to turn over and become extremely likeable and root-for-able. Not that I don't anyway, but it is nice to see, and it makes me excited for the future.

It's so weird because no matter who you compare him to, you end up thinking Kobbie is better in a particular area. I think he's closest style-wise to Xavi. A deeper, dictating #8 who sets the tempo. I can see the Hargreaves anticipation, the Pogba technique and the Carrick composure too. He's the most well-rounded midfielder I've seen at this age.

The background music in this is making it weird. Jay can carry this without music no probs!

Kobbie played his cards right at the perfect moment with the calmness that could impact games!!

The rise of this kid is unreal to do what he’s done already is a massive achievement. But I hope the media don’t destroy him like they often try and do with English players. He’s becoming a fan favourite proper United player you have to love him.

This is a new, refreshing take from a fan channel. We don't get behind our clubs enough, we spend far too much time and energy criticising the players, the manager and the club. No one disagrees with what has been said or will be said, we know circumstances are not perfect, but sometimes we forget what it is to be a fan or supporter of a football club. What does it mean to be a football fan? I'd like to hear that point of view from four generations of the Howson family. Who better to share what it means to them and what they think it is to be a football fan for Utd. What should we do to support our club?

Definitely more of this content, something like what ste did with the history of Manchester United would be a must watch.

Mainoo is levels above Pogba. Infinitely more intelligent. Comparing Mainoo to Pogba's stint at United is disrespectful.

Love Kobbie, , I wonder what's happened to McNeil, we were hearing alot about him and he seemed to be on the cusp of 1st team but we don't hear anything of him now

I don't think he's anything like Pogba, and I think the comparison is minimal. If anything I'd say he's more like a young Frenkie de Jong

he'll become a superstar ...no guarantee it will be @ united

From a United perspective, I'd be happy if Mainoo gets selected for England for the Euros, but I'm also concerned about starting him & expecting too much from him too soon! Southgate should use him as an impact sub, or cover in the event of an injury or suspension, & ideally start him in the 3rd group game if we have the luxury of having already qualified. We've seen the hangovers the likes of Rashford & Sancho had off the back of a tournament with England!

As for United, i see Mainoo as an 8, & he more than deserves his starting berth based on form! Selfishly, in Mainoo, United has a talent who could potentially play as our number 8 for over a decade! Hope the club learns from Pogba's premature exit by tying Mainoo down to a new long term deal!

I totally get the hype though! At just 18, Mainoo is doing what a teenage Owen & Rooney did when first bursting onto the scene! Interestingly enough, Owen & Rooney faded away in their late 20s & early 30s, & so it's important to plan long term for a talent like Mainoo. Look at how Pep has gradually developed Foden at City? He hasn't always been a sure starter, but that's not to say that he hasn't played enough minutes every season. It's only this season where he's cemented his starting berth & he's about to be named as the Player of the Season! Hope United do similar with Kobbie!

Mainoo is an amazing incredible talent but can we stop trying to label him ..I must admit he reminds me of Seedorf but just let him play he's Kobbie Mainno we're just lucky he's ours!!
