Premiere Performance in Copenhagen on the 13th May 2009. The Royal Danish Orchestra (Det Kongelige Kapel) - Rixon Thomas, English Horn. This performance played on a Rigoutat English Horn.

I could listen to this all day!! Very touching and moving passage played with great virtuosity and a musicality that that goes right to my heart!!

By the way, this is the song Angelino plays in "Freaks" (1931, by Tod Browning), just before the Freaks' revenge...

Your playing always impresses me with the musicality you show.   This is not an easy piece to play or realise and you make it sound the most natural thing.  I have an old Buffet (from 1918) that I play this on,   but I am afraid I am nowhere near your expressive standard.  I hear it and weep.
