Screen size is 30% bigger than the Series 6 and below models. It is about 7% bigger than the S7 and above models. They are very clever with their wording.

Im on a series 3 and it still functions perfect to what i use it for which is mainly tracking workouts & runs. but it is noticeably slow, and im tired of how thick & bulky it is. I may get the series 10 🤔

I'm amazed that so many YouTuber simply take Apple's figures from the presentation regarding the increase in screen size!
They always talk about a 30% increase compared to the previous version.
If I see it correctly, then it's just under 7% growth from the AW9 to the AW10.
((1.220 mm2 - 1.143mm2)/ 1.143mm2) x100 = 6, 74%
And it's just under 25% from the AW6 to the AW10.
((1.220 mm2 - 977mm2)/ 977mm2) x100 = 24, 87%
Well, I think that's also a somewhat unusual comparison with the version from 4 generations ago....

Have you also ever noticed that the screen edges of the Apple Watch 10 are significantly thicker than the screen edges of the Apple Watch 9?
This also explains why Apple only compares the size with the version 4, 5, 6, SE graphically
