Why haven't all of the elected members of congress that aided and abetted been dragged before the courts? How were they allowed to run in the midterms? How can they still be on committees that oversee justice and ethics? The system is seriously in need of repair.

I would just like to say that the argument that states correctly that criminal charges require criminal procedures on every level, is very concerning. Bringing justice to this American experiment must include a consideration of how the people will benefit from any judgment the Justice Department makes. We and I mean the common folk understand what is at stake. I think the right question needs to be asked and I am not sure if it is. How will the people’s concept of our democracy change after all is said and done? The impact must be weighted carefully and not on the basis of polls. The party most concerned about the “politics” of the January Sixth Committee is the one party that is only really concerned with politics and not the health of our experiment. I am revived by the results of the Mid-terms, because “the people” spoke! It was powerful and it makes the statement that bad leadership, corruption, and deceit can only hurt our experiment! That is what the focus should be. We can have bipartisan resolutions and be strong as a nation. If we have radicals who want more division and who really would like to return this nation to it’s racist past out of fear of a declination of their numbers and their dominance in the Experiment, we will lose the diversity and equality we want people to experience on this geographical area. I want the Justice Department to look at the unjust nature of allowing a twice impeached President to even be allowed to participate in any government position. I think when you talk about justice, you should think about how certain levels of crime, if proven, are penalized by one really determinant factor. We take away the convicted criminals right to vote. Seems just. But how can an ounce of justice come out of the notion that we allow “questionable” people to vote when they have spoken words of treason towards our Constitution. This holds most of the common folk in a perplexity.

Some reply's on here are just plain silly, and have nothing to with what is being talked about by the sane.

I agree 100% with Liz Cheney, Donald J Trump is unfit for any office in government ever again and should have never been voted in the first time.

Trump DEFINITELY needs to go to prison for the three charges recommended by the January 6th committee and for many other reasons as well, such as fraud, stealing confidential documents, misuse of campaign funds...etc.

Q: How many Trump supporters does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None. Donald just lies and tells them he changed the light bulb by "just thinking about it" so they all stand in the dark yelling "he's a superhero"...then they run out and pay $99 each for some extremely bad photoshopped clipart.

It only took them a year and a half to figure this out. When we knew this the day of. Now we'll see if the DOJ has the stones to man up andcdo anything about it.
