“Tomorrow And Tomorrow” by Charles Sheffield
“Rogue Moon” by Algis Budrys
“Son of Man” by Robert Silverberg
“The Ice People” by Rene Barjavel
“Cosmic Banditos” by A.C. Weisbecker

I know I listed five selections, but, I just can’t leave any behind. “Cosmic Banditos” is really a wild gonzo-esque ride with some quantum mechanics thrown in for good measure. I’ve never laughed so hard through a book before, and had my love of science fiction tickled to boot! 😂

Lists are purely subjective, and if I were to answer based on the sci-fi that made me chuckle out the most. It goes to the hitchhikers guide!

Simmons is great. I read the Hyperion 4 book series without really getting his references (eg Keats) no problem and loved it. Ilium/Olympus I found not getting the references a much bigger deal.

Once in the darknet, one could read the story 'Orb in a cube' by Rey Mov. It’s cool.

Do Androids dream of electric sheep. A really cool read it's not sci-fi but it's an awesome book. Jonathan Livingston Seagull. Oh I forgot the best of all sci-fi is " Hitchhiker's Guide to the galaxy ". I've been a sci-fi nut since my mother gave me Conan the barbarian. I was 8 or so. I'm 55 and still a huge sci-fi fan.
