Some simple Object Tracking tests with the Pico Motion Tracker. The tracking was very good... the only way I found to break the tracking was to rotate the bottle so that the tracker was occluded.

Shirt matching headset day. This object tracking is probably the most outlooked part of these trackers, they can work as cheap lighthouse tracker replacement. Like there are some VR gloves now that need those trackers... but you could use these instead. These could open doors for all sorts of 3rd party controllers that before needed lighthouses.

If you move the tracker outside of the headset's view (or rotate it 180 degrees so the front of the tracker faces away from you), does it stop tracking position and only track rotation (via IMUs)? Similar to how controllers track when they are tracked bybthe headset?

How would you compare controller tracking to tracker tracking quality? Does the tracking accuracy appear to be similar?
