Wouldn't it be funny if you land on a planet and it's all medieval, you get captured, put into a cart and then some guy tells you "You're finally awake" lol

Many people don't know this but the year of 2330 where this plays out is actually an Easter egg referring to the release date of Elder scrolls 6.

Visual design looks great but the combat legit looks like it was pulled out of 2008. I know it's not the main selling point of these games but I'd like to see something more dynamic from Bethesda over a decade later.

I like how the spaceships, the buildings and the suits etc. aren't completely ultra-futuristic... they still have this Lunar Module-International Space Station bulkiness, module-like temporary habitat-ish quality to them.

Actually quite happy that we as a fandom are being cautious about this game and aren't hyping it up as the next greatest thing. I hope it does well, honestly, and I think it has a chance to really wow us, but it also has just as much a chance to let us down, so this cautious optimism is best.

Honestly, the part I'm most excited about is just see how many sci-fi settings Bethesda can mish-mash into the game. The Cyberpunk city, the desolate moon outpost, the Presidium of The Citad...*ahem*...I mean the ultramodern utopic capital...I'm actually excited to explore these towns. I just wonder how much they can actually be explored, and what there is to do there.

The first 5 minutes really do bring to mind No Man's Sky. Particularly the scanning and mining.

It looks like an Bethesda game indeed. Kinda liked how it also looks like an Outer Worlds and No Man's Sky mixup, would be interesting to see how the history will be and progress.

Love the art design and the music, my big concern is the scope of the play area; I think focusing on a smaller play space like a single solar system would allow the devs to make better environments, but we'll see how that pans out. Don't pre-order folks for the love of god.

This looks like a game I'll spend hours enjoying. Then once I get out of character creation, I'll be exploring for hours more.

Definitely learned my lesson over the last 2 decades playing games. This is one you don't pre-order.

That's a big promise of content.
The copy & paste balancing is going to be interesting to see.
I got faith in this potential, I'm excited to see more progress

Impressive. We've gone from diagonal walking animations to useable vehicles in just over a decade.

This is definitely a modern Bethesda game. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing.

The modding potential for ship customization is crazy. This looks great overall, i'm just curious about the 100 systems and 1000 planets. They are surely not 100% handcrafted but I hope they are at least filled with things to observe and things to do, random encounters as well

My only gripe from what I’ve seen so far is the gunplay. No bullet impact and looks clunky. Otherwise, looks like it has excellent potential. I’m hoping there are companions with fleshed out stories, but also randomly generated nobodies who can crew your ships or be a part of your settlements, with customisable equipment.

I'm a little worried with having 100 worlds, because my thinking is that most the habitable realms are probably going to have very little bio diversity. Due to the fact they can't just make a thousand unique assets and AI's for every single one. And i fear they will all feel very samey.
Unless they make them REALLY rare, and keep the rest as just barren rocks to plunder. But that defeats the purpose of having 100 world, other than just inflating the numbers.

A pretty impactful moment to me is when meeting the first creatures, they pull their gun, but don't fire. Instead they wait, and lower the gun when they realize that the creatures are not an immediate threat. I thought that was a pretty cool choice :0
