How to Make a Food Ordering Website and App in just 30 minutes

Part 1: Launch your food ordering website

Find food ordering website, click ‘Launch website’

Add your details & make payment,

Now click ‘Launch site’, enter your site url & again click launch new website

Click ‘add to cart’ fill up the details & purchase the plugin,

To activate the plugin, go to makeyourwp click ‘admin’

It will take you to WordPress dashboard, go to foodbook licensing

Add licence key, to get the key, go to plugin page, click on your name,

Then click ‘downloads’ twice to get the licence key

Part 2: Add your own food items

Step 1: Delete the sample food items

Go to your dashboard ► Products ► Select & delete sample food items

Step 2: Add your food product

Click ‘Add new’, now add your product details & click publish

Now to change currency, Go to WooCommerce ► Settings

Now change the currency & click ‘Save changes’

To setup payment method, create an account in razorpay

Activate your account by clicking ‘Activate your account’

And fill the kyc form, add your bank details, and submit form,

Connect the account with your website, go to your dashboard,

Click WooCommerce ► Settings ► Payments ► Enable razorpaay

And click ‘Set up’ enable the first module, & enter the key details,

Get the details from your razorpay, go to settings ► Api keys ► Generate live key

To make your website as an app, from mobile open site on your browser, click 3 dots on top

then click ‘add to home screen’, enter site name and click ‘add’,

To assign a person to deliver the food, go to dashboard, ► Users ► All users ► Add new

Add details of delivery person, click ’Role’ And select ‘delivery boy’ & click Add new user’

Now the delivery person will get mail to login to their dashboard,

To see the orders & location.

Part 3: Add a location tracking feature to your website

Go to dashboard ► foodbook ► Settings ► location settings

Now add google map api keys, get the keys from Google cloud console,

To get location on map, add tracking feature

To make changes to your order status, go to Admin dashboard ► orders

Now Change the status and assign delivery person

Part 4: Get a custom domain

Search for availability of your domain name,

Add your details and make payment,

Connect your domain name with your website by adding ip address.

To edit your website click edit with elementor and make changes.
