Did I fail at art? - honest reflection | Will’s Art Vlog

After a 10 year career as a visual artist, I want to share how I've been feeling lately. Sometimes I want to jump ship as a creative professional and only pursue it as a hobby. I'm doubting whether I got into this career path for the right reasons, and if it's where I should stay. I’m curious if other people can relate to my experience. I'm not looking for pity, just looking to hear others perspectives.

That's a great video, hope you can find the best way to feel more happy about your art and what is the best thing to fulfill your needs, maybe it takes time but you just got to not give up.

Sounds about right. Better to realize it 10 years in, rather than 20 years in like me. For the record, this applies to non-art professionals as well. I’ve met 2 doctors who are in the same boat. Though they also own boats…
