Abiding in Christ (John 15:1-5) - Nate Pickowicz

Jesus Christ is the True Vine for us to abide in and bear fruit. Fruit doesn't earn us salvation, but it is the infallible proof that our faith is genuine. John 15:8 - By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

I have read John 15 so many times and it has always challenge my understanding but listening to this message has blessed my understanding of this wonderful chapter. I now know what is expected of me and hereby pray the grace of God to fully abide and bear much fruit. Thanks for a powerful message.

Jesus did NOT tell them this in English, let alone Greek, though John records this in Greek. There is so much lost in translation! Aramaic to Greek and then to English. Yikes. So much bad doctrine built from English translations ignoring the Greek, let alone the Aramaic that would narrow the way you even read the Greek. Yikes.
