👀Zero Waste Googly Eyes👀

Grab some old blister packs, fill with lentils, seeds, or grains to get different eye colors. Glue on white paper to the backs of the packs, and use in your arts & crafts projects! Easy peasy 😌💛

I joked about pink eye in this video & then got pick eye days after 😅 Karma is real.

Thanks to my sweet Luna who made the drawings for this video!

xx Christelle

Very clever, really. Unless you know something I dont, some medicine cannot be bought outside of those blister packs.
Question: what do you do for plastic free freezer stuff? (Keeping meat for example).
PPS: I am on a journey (3 children, 1 adult), to rid my house of all plastic - except for things I dont control like the apartments fridge/ flooring/ wiring etc. Some things are real head scratchers. Some are surprising when you do a little digging, like clothing labels - which are synthetic. Getting rid of Instapots (going to find an old school metal pressure cooker to replace though way less convenient), sold my new heavy duty sewing machine for an 120 year treadle (which is way more fun, quiet and goes through 9mm of leather in one shot), etc. What to do about photos? I dont want plastic on my land where I build my home in the bush. Only thing I have to stomach is electrical wires - unless you know of a place where I can get plastic free wiring? We keep a record of every single synthetic/ plastic thing going out the door. Though I've been doing this for 4 years now, its time to ramp up the focus: so we got rid of 1800 odd pieces of individual plastic in 35 days. Thats appalling! Probably another 500-1000 in the home.... 😕
