The jerk is always annoying. Whenever I train, my form is perfect until a certain amount of weight and it all falls apart. I know it’s supposed to be more difficult as you go up but I just hit a wall.

I recently discovered, for the jerk, your elbows should NOT be in the same 90deg position as they are for clean catch/FS.
- after your Clean, rotate your elbows down to about 45deg-/+ ! (This also helps you squeeze Lats for stability)
-This way your arms are already in a powerful position to drive upward (elbows get in line-under the bar faster)
-Rather than your elbows being further in front of your body, causing you to take a longer route, diagonally to finish... making you press out sometimes. And in this case you also had to walk forward.

I’ve been weightlifting for about 6 years and just learned this a few months ago, hope it helps man!!!
