Importance of IRC: Other than self entertainment and self nerve diffusing and social communication and knowing new friends, you can still ask for answers that you cannot get them through searching online like using Google search engine, specially those that depend on technical experience. In Facebook, you still have to ask for permission to join a group. In IRC you won't need the permission, JUST GET IN and JOIN and you're welcome.
