An icon and a true Woodstock legend. We(his fans) miss him.
May his soul rest in peace.

Joe Cocker was a great vocalist, taking the Beatle song with a little help from my friends, and making the song his own, which he did at the first Woodstock concert. He also did the songs up where we belong, and you are so beautiful, and why he hasn't been inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame, I'll never understand. Induct Joe Cocker NOW! Thank You Very Much.

Amazing singer and performer. An absolute sin that he isn’t in the Rock n Roll hall of fame. Brings that entire institution in to disrepute. God bless you Joe, may God rest your soul.

Joe Cocker was and still is my favourite vocalist. He felt every single note and beat in every song he sang with every fibre of his being. There will never be anyone like him again.

I have a mild cerebral palsy, and remember thinking in my youth, that Joe's..swaying/convulsions were as a result of some type of disability.
This was oddly encouraging to me, until I heard him in an interview where he explained that it was just the way he swayed with the rhythm of the music.
One thing I do remember that I still 😂find encouraging, is that he talked about being addicted to heroin and living "up and down the north coast of England" in a van (in the early 70s from memory).
I remember him saying that he woke up one day, and basically told himself,
"Enough".

He is one of my favorites singers. I knew about him in film of Woodstock festival. Me and my friends used to imitate him singing "a little help from my friends" We used to move our hands the way he did while singing the song. RIP.
