His vocal tone and hand gestures seem so artificial. I was in the same room with him in San Francisco when FB was becoming world-famous, and he struck me as creepy. He was on a panel of executives, and he showed no humor, warmth, or capacity for small talk. He reminded me of a statement that Samuel Taylor Coleridge made about William Pitt the Younger: He seemed as though he didn't develop naturally as a human being, but instead seemed cast like a piece of iron. To me, Zuck seemed like a robot with an emotionally immature adolescent boy's desire to rule the world, and he still does. I wouldn't trust this guy to fix my car.

Being a techie, here's my 2 cents. What Meta is promising for future is really nothing like what we've seen before. It's much bigger than what we've seen in the sci-fi movies so far. If it was launched by some tech company with a pinch of ethical values, I'd have been jumping around with sheer joy/excitement. But unfortunately it's "Facebook". Instead of seeing all the positives, we should really be worried about our future now.
This company owned and runs a third grade product like Facebook- a social media app and controls what should we think, whom should we hate, whom to like, whom should we vote for, where and what to buy, what are the current beauty standards, what's right in the society and what's not, when should we feel happy, when to feel sad/agitated, who is our friend/enemy and many many more things. Just by weaponising Facebook.
Now metaverse is more like replacement to everything we do on the internet + many more things that the future holds in tech like actually losing ourselves in the virtual reality and enter a space where none of the societies/governments rules apply(even if they do, clearly not effective at all) and completely subscribe to the rules set by zuck and his team.
Now that's a thought that keeps me up at night! Yea it's 3 a.m here and I'm going nuts thinking about all this🙄

I really wish that governments were not blinded by the money. Sadly we live in a world where Governments don't take actions untill it is too late. Or they simply die like what happened in Afghanistan. Government didn't take action, by the time they realized their mistakes it was already too late the enemy had become too strong. Same thing is going to happen with Facebook, Amazon and Google.
