Artist's Note: I LOVE THIS SONG. It's so much fun that I genuinely can't take it. I was listening to it for literal days on end when I first heard it. I've wanted to get in on some seasonal anime ops for a while now but I was always busying myself with other covers that I knew I wanted to do and/or that I knew would perform well on the channel. I very nearly covered Dark Seeks Light last season, but when this reared its head, I thought "This is literally me. This is the perfect style for me to pull off. I can hear myself singing this, I... I have to do it." So I did. And I'm really proud of it!! I hope y'all enjoy it as well!

I'm sure some of you know by now, but I usually don't let myself do anime covers unless I've seen the show that it's from. Of course, that's because I want my adapted lyrics to relate to the actual show. I hadn't actually seen Orient when I wrote this, but thankfully I got my hands on Volume 1 of the manga ahead of time, so I'm still very confident in my lyrics. I literally took a trip to the bookstore for it just so I could write this. Orient is a very harmless and fun shonen series, totally recommend if you're looking for a good show to switch your brain off to this season.

Anyway. I might go back and cover some other seasonal stuff? But I'd be very picky with it. There are a myriad of good ops this season... Genius Prince, Tokyo 24th Ward, Tribe Nine, etc etc... but this one stole my heart. Plus, Orient is a shonen of similar nature to series like Fairy Tail and such, so I thought it was a nice fit for the channel too. I hope to do at least one seasonal op cover going forward too! Brace yourselves!
