In under four short years, Earth Hour has become the largest campaign in history for the planet. It has grown from one city, one country - Sydney, Australia - to over 128 countries and territories in 2010.

In Pakistan its happen every 2nd hour...proud be Pakistani after every 2 - 3 hours there are EARTH HOUR.

What is 8:30 PM in Greenwich England is not the same time in as in California. The US uses the most energy because it was once so cheap and reliable.

So, does this cause problems in the Electrical Grid when things get switched off and why aren't all lights turned out like candles, flashlights, and bon fires?

I will do this at home since I just learned about it from a Google light switch on a Channel. I have lights on during the daytime now because it's raining cats and dogs outside.

Because of disorder in Nature lot of things not working correctly. This sounds like the last warning that we must intervene. Maybe it’s too late for many things but we can extend a better life and slow down any type of disaster that threatens our planet. The inhabitants of the Earth open your eyes! It is not just about turning lights and safe energy and slow down the Ice to melt....it is about that but it is more that we all should care about our Earth as Earth’s citizens. We all know what our Mother Nature can do...Surnames, Floods, Volcanos ....new deadly viruses....

I was 20 minutes late? However, once I found out about Earth Hour, I immediately took action and shut the lights off in my house. Keep it up people! We CAN change the world by doing something as simple as this :D
