The beginning of everything

Scientists from the Centre for Astrophysics have found evidence of gravitational waves created mere moments after the dawn of the Universe. These waves were created in a period of rapid expansion called cosmic inflation. This new evidence could prove the definitive confirmation of the inflation theory. It seems that finally, scientists can claim to understand the goings on at the beginning of everything.

The thing I want to know is, before the universe there waa nothing which is bascially something, was that nothing just... always therw? It makes no sense to me if nothing created nothing hows it there

So it's inflation theory then. That means there is infinite number of universes, and that means there's infinite number of universes exactly the same like this with you or me doing exactly the same things ... Yes, life is pointless.

how did big bang happen when nothing existed? and how can "something" exist in nothing. And how can something create something when that something never could of have existed in nothing?! and since nothing eternal then how can you explain anything at all??

This "explanation " doesn't explain a priori-a)physical reality, in beginning, was NOTHING> Thus-how can nothing be moved to "something"? An "intelligent being...truncates the process..? From Nothing to Something (ie, the "big bang")

Not sure how some people look at it but when i see the word universe i see uni which means 1 and when i see verse it means statement so god said let there be which was one single statement. You figure the rest

Further you travel away from the center of the universe the harder it will get, if you do make it you will  reach the edge of existence the void. This is where you will see the universe starting to contract inwards again till it reaches point zero. Then the universe will reset it self thus the (big bang) theory and it starts expanding again in a endless cycle (inflation then deflation) Everything has a start & end so does the universe so before that time occurs we all be long gone as stardust thus no need to stress just relax go with the flow. Space man out.
