This is a very beautiful coin. I love the old designs. I also collect the Swiss francs and British souvereigns. They have the gold but also have a collectors value. And they are not too expensive so I can buy them regular and have the fun of purchasing something on a regular basis.

I'm from the Uk, lovely gold coin, always loved the French roosters. I went to my bullion dealers last week, they had sold out of everything. Everybody seems to be wanting gold coins. Never seen anything like it.

Another great video! Thanks Bigstack! I see a big leg up for Gold longer term. I have been stacking gold recently. Gold, gold miners, and commodities overall are breaking out from very long term resistance lines since back in 2011 after the financial crisis. I could see $3000/oz gold if our global crisis’ continues. Nice coin BTW.

If you have an easy way to sell them at spot, Francs may be the absolute best gold to add weight to the stack at minimal premium. Love that historic European gold.

Yup, certainly the way to go if you want low premium. I'm not a massive fan of 1oz gold as it's hard to liquidate here. My gut feelings for both silver and gold are that they are going to be stagnant this year, but i would like to see a larger gold pullback as I'm ready to pull the trigger.
