This channel is phenomenal. Thanks to Prof. V. Balakrishnan. I always wanted a lecture on Green's functions. I wish there's a book that goes with this lecture.

Even MIT, Caltech professors rarely explain like Professor Balakrishnan! Such humble and knowledgeable person!
P.S.: His son and daughter are the Faculty members of MIT!!

Thanks for the video dude.
Holy hell, this has some serious implications for any integral transformation of the Green's function for which there exists an inverse. Holy balls Batman!

Excellent lecture.
I have never seen anywhere that the the Green function could be regarded as the inverse operation of the differential operator - Insightful!

Can the green's function be defined also for operators other than differential operators to solve the equations involving such operators??

What would be the best textbook to learn about this material? Can anyone recommend?
