Morocco's Military Spending Increases | Morocco News | NewsRme
With the passage of Morocco's proposed 2022 financial legislation, the country's defense and military expenditure would rise by 4.77 percent from last year's level.

The government intends to invest $12.8 billion in modernizing its armed forces, including the purchase of fighter planes, tanks, training aircraft, and weapons and ammunition that are at the cutting edge of technology.
Also highlighted in the budget proposal are the African nation's long- and short-range missile systems, as well as navy vessels and submarines.
Along with weaponry, this funding will enable the Department of National Defence to create 10,800 new employees by 2021, more than doubling the current number.
While this is happening, a renowned worldwide marketing management organization predicts that the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces will be the most powerful military force in Africa by 2022.
