I just love the unobstructed view from the F-16’s canopy. I was blown away as a kid when I learned it used a fly-by-wire system and a side stick.

José María Córdoba airport. I did a stop over in my way to Bogotá in 1977. I just wish the FAC (Colombian Air Force) would get F-16s. But they claim they (Colombian govt) don’t have the budget to purchase them. At minute 14:07 notice there is BIG bird that flies by the canopy. That is the danger of flying, and a Demo pilot is not impervious to bird strikes. Wild Weasel pilot patch on the pilot’s left shoulder. Thanks for your service. Semper Fi!
