Hurricane Hilary takes aim at Southern California: Friday afternoon update

For the first time in history, a tropical storm watch has been issued for portions of Southern California as Hurricane Hilary moves northward from the Pacific coast of Mexico. KTLA weather anchor Kaj Goldberg has details. Aug. 18, 2023.

He needs to say "it's forecast to" not "it will" I'm from Florida and hurricanes speed up and slow down changing the landfall and intensity. That's why the tracks usually change even right before landfall. Stock up on canned food candles and water! Goodluck ☘️

Take this seriously please. Get supplies for a day or two and be ready for power outages. Their power grid isn’t reinforced like ours are on the East Coast, and it still gets knocked out.
