The Lenovo Legion Y700 2023 Edition is a very interesting 8-inch gaming tablet from Lenovo. It features a high-resolution 8-inch display that unlike the iPad Mini, supports 144 Hz, is very bright and also supports an active stylus. Inside runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor which means that you can play demanding games like Genshin Impact and PUBG Mobile with highest graphics settings.

Can you remove the navigation pill at the bottom? I can't stand that thing telling me what I already know. I love how the 2022 version hides it. Can it be disabled? Please cover this in your review. It would only take a few seconds, heck, it could be as easy as filming a few shots in your review with the pill disabled at the home screen.

Watching and writing from the first gen Y700. Also imported from China. I love mine. Nice to see Lenovo continuing this path. I wonder what improvements they made to PC Mode. Especially when connected to large 4k displays.if you could test that and share 😃

Planning to buy this one instead of the ipad mini 6. My ipad pro 11 isn't that space friendly when traveling around, this one is pretty handy with a sling bag.

Glad to see you covering this one. There is another 8" 120Hz tablet... The Lenovo Legion Y700 (2022) which is still on sale and quite discounted at importers now. I have the 2022 version, the iPad Mini 6, the Realme Pad Mini and 2x the ALLDOCUBE iPlay 50 mini Pro. IMO the Y700 2022 spanks the iPad Mini 6 in all aspects of user experience except updates and MacOS integrations. But even then, Apple couldn't be bothered to bring Stage Manager to the then less than a year old $500 iPad Mini 6. Stage Manager is bad, but it is better than the default iOS multitasking experience. Supposedly, the M1 was required, but then Apple brought it to the old A12z iPad Pros, so clearly the intention was just to pay wall it. The Y700 is great, but the ALLDOCUBE iPlay 50 mini Pro is actually the device I needed to exist when I first bought my iPad Mini 6 in 2021. It's very affordable, has a stock Android UI and has enough performance for general use and casual gaming. Ideally I just want to see an 8" Pixel tablet or even better would be an 8" ChromeOS tablet. I will probably still buy the Y700 2023 at some point, but it will be very delayed since I like my new cheap iPlay 50 mini Pros. Cheers! P.S. the Realme Pad Mini is by far the worst of the bunch. It's slow and with a 800P screen it struggles to even fill the role of a media consumption device.

I have the 2020 version and it's great. So definitely this is way better. I just hope they release good accessories especially a keyboard.
